Manipulate Matter: A Ceramics Clinic

Long Beach Rising teams up with Hold_Center for a hands-on ceramics workshop focused on shaping and glazing ceramic climbing holds, happening Sunday, October 18th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM as part of the ongoing LBR x Arc'teryx Residency. Participants can shape their own climbing hold or experiment with glazing one provided by Hold Center, while Spencer from Hold_Center shares knowledge on clay, ceramics, and the process of turning earth into something climbable. No ceramics experience is necessary, just a willingness to make something. The event explores the intersection of climbing, ceramics, and art, reflecting Long Beach Rising's mission as a community hub for movement, creativity, and connection. This event requires RSVP via link in bio.
